在这个世界上，被“吉他之神”Tommy Emmanue!最关爱的那个吉他“大男孩”是谁?没错，那一定是来自英国的 Mike Dawes。如今再回头看Mike与吉他的故事，以及他几乎像“开挂”一般的发展轨迹，一切似乎都显得如此自然 1989年7月，Mike出生在英国西部的一座小城。12岁时，他开始接触电吉他，喜欢Guns N’Roses，喜欢Queen，也喜欢充满力量的摇滚乐。 17岁时，他就创作出了《Impossible》这样水准极高的原创作品。 2009年，20岁的Mike在YouTube上传了自己的第一个视频。从那一刻开始，他真正与世界连接在一起。视频平台让越来越多的人发现了他。差不多也是在那个时期，我开始注意到这位年轻的吉他手尤其是在2012年Mike发行首张个人专辑之后，我们正式取得了联系。 2014年，我们成功邀请他来到中国，完成了他的第一次中国巡演。从那时起，他便与中国的指弹吉他圈建立了深厚的缘分。2018年，他再次受邀来到中国，参加WAGF(世界原声吉他音乐节)担任评委，并在北京举办了一场音乐会。不过那一次并没有进行完整的巡演。 2019年，Mike刚满30岁，他的职业生涯迎来了-个重要机遇–他在美国展开了一次大规模巡演其中几场演出是与Tommy Emmanuel同台进行。现在回头看，那时Mike已经签约Tommy Emmanue在美国的经纪公司，而Mike正是这家公司重点推厂的新生代吉他手之一。我敢打赌，很多吉他手都会羡慕这个幸运的年轻人。从那之后，Mike几乎每年都会进行欧美巡演，并多次与 Tommy Emmanuel 同台演出。他在北美的知名度也越来越高。 这一次中国巡演，严格说，本来应该发生在2024年但由于Mike当时的美国巡演档期与WAGF时间冲突我们不得不放弃原计划。随后在2025年，他又临时接到与Dream Theater吉他手John Petrucci 一起参加某音乐夏令营活动的邀请。因此，这次巡演最终推迟到2026年才正式落地。这也是Mike自2014年第一次中国巡演以来，时隔12年再次来到中国。 本次巡演将覆盖七座城市(具体城市请查看海报)其中很多城市都是Mike第一次到访。如今邀请Mike来中国演出，其难度已经不亚于邀请Tommy Emmanuel.所以，喜欢指弹吉他的朋友们，一定不要错过这次难得的机会，一起来现场见证指弹吉他的力量 我们为这次巡演取了一个熟悉的名字:《摩登指弹)它象征着当代指弹吉他的无限可能-充满想象力、创造力，以及不断突破演奏极限的精神。像Mike Dawes这样的艺术家，我们甚至可以把他们视为“进化型指弹”的代表人物。在最艰难的时期，仍然坚守最初的热爱。这正是我们热爱指弹吉他，并愿意一直为它付出的最大动力。

Performance Introduction

Who is the big boy guitarist favored most by the “God of Guitar” Tommy Emmanuel? The answer is undoubtedly Mike Dawes from the United Kingdom. Looking back on his journey with the guitar and his phenomenal career path, everything seems destined and natural. Born in a small town in western England in July 1989, Mike picked up the electric guitar at the age of 12. He was fond of powerful rock music, being a fan of Guns N’ Roses and Queen. At 17, he composed the phenomenal original piece *Impossible*. In 2009, the 20-year-old Mike uploaded his first guitar video on YouTube, connecting himself with audiences worldwide. He soon gained widespread recognition across online platforms. It was around this time that we first took notice of this talented young guitarist. We officially got in touch after he released his debut solo album in 2012. In 2014, we successfully invited him to embark on his debut China tour, forging an enduring bond between Mike and China’s fingerstyle community. In 2018, he returned to China as a judge at the WAGF World Acoustic Guitar Festival and held a solo concert in Beijing, though a full-scale nationwide tour was not arranged that year. Turning 30 in 2019, Mike seized a pivotal career opportunity and launched a large-scale tour across the United States, sharing the stage with Tommy Emmanuel on multiple shows. By then, he had signed with Tommy Emmanuel’s American agency, becoming one of the core rising guitarists under its promotion. Countless guitar enthusiasts surely envied this fortunate young musician. Since then, Mike has toured Europe and America almost every year and frequently performed alongside Tommy Emmanuel, steadily building massive popularity throughout North America. This China tour was originally scheduled for 2024, yet had to be postponed due to schedule conflicts between his US tour and WAGF events. In 2025, he was further engaged for a music summer camp alongside John Petrucci, guitarist of Dream Theater. Eventually, the long-awaited tour is confirmed for 2026, marking his grand comeback to China after a 12-year gap since his maiden Chinese tour in 2014. The upcoming tour will cover seven cities (see poster for detailed venues), including numerous destinations Mike has never visited before. Nowadays, inviting Mike Dawes to perform in China is nearly as challenging as booking Tommy Emmanuel. All fingerstyle lovers must not miss this rare chance to witness the sheer power of fingerstyle guitar live.
