井草圣二
1988年出生于日本兵库县，钢弦木吉他创作演奏家。
从4岁开始弹奏钢琴，11岁演奏爵士鼓，15岁开始学习钢弦木吉他，并深受到知名吉他手马汀・泰勒(Martin Taylor) 以及得力·迪克斯(Doyle Dykes) 的影响，曾为日本知名指弹大师「押尾光太郎」及国际指弹教父「Tommy Emmanuel」担任开场嘉宾。
2009年 发行首张专辑「Introduction」并获得日本全国钢弦木吉他大赛「最优秀奖」「原创作曲奖」两项殊荣。
2010年，作为日本代表参加了在美国堪萨斯州举办的世界吉他比赛“第39届胡桃谷音乐节”，并跻身前五。
2015年开始在韩国、中国等亚洲地区进行演奏活动。
2019年，在中国举办了一场涵盖15个城市的巡回演出，获得了好评。
在2021年出版的杂志《Acoustic Guitar Book 53》中，被选为封面人物，作为指弹吉他领域的领军人物备受关注。
至今已发布了10张专辑，他精湛的指弹技法在海外社交媒体上引起了广泛关注，YouTube频道的总播放次数已经超过10亿次，粉丝已经超过100万。Instagram的粉丝超过50万，bilibili粉丝超过10万。
除了作为独奏吉他手的活动外，还作为作曲家/编曲家参与了各种风格的艺术家的录音。

Seiji Igusa Biography
Seiji Igusa, born in 1988 in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, is a steel-string acoustic guitar composer and performer. He began playing the piano at the age of 4, switched to jazz drums at 11, and started learning steel-string acoustic guitar at 15. He was deeply influenced by renowned guitarists such as Martin Taylor and Doyle Dykes. Igusa has performed as the opening act for famous Japanese fingerstyle master Kotaro Oshio and international fingerstyle legend Tommy Emmanuel.
In 2009, he released his debut album Introduction, which won two prestigious awards at the National Steel-string Acoustic Guitar Competition in Japan: the “Best Performance Award” and the “Original Composition Award.”
In 2010, he represented Japan in the World Guitar Competition at the 39th Walnut Valley Festival in Kansas, USA, where he placed in the top five.
Starting in 2015, Igusa began performing across Asia, including South Korea and China.
Collaborations with Fingerstyle China:
- In 2019, he embarked on a 15-city tour in China, which received great acclaim.
- In 2021, he was featured on the cover of Acoustic Guitar Book 53, where he was recognized as a leading figure in the fingerstyle guitar community.
- To date, he has released 10 albums. His masterful fingerstyle techniques have garnered widespread attention on social media, with his YouTube channel accumulating over 1 billion views and more than 1 million subscribers. His Instagram has over 500,000 followers, and his Bilibili account has over 100,000 followers.
- In addition to his solo performances, he has contributed as a composer and arranger for various artists across different genres.
In August 2024, he began the first season of his five-year agreement tour, Summer Monologue, which visited 7 cities across China, igniting another “fingerstyle storm.”
The second season of his five-year tour, Falling Leaves in the Breeze, will kick off in October 2024, with tickets already available for shows in Shanghai, Wuhan, Xi’an, Chengdu, Kunming, Nanning, and Zhuhai.
