The first exciting news for fingerstyle guitar enthusiasts in early 2025: the long-awaited return of the “WAGF” Fingerstyle Guitar Festival to Guangzhou!
In early summer 2017, Fingerstyle China hosted the first WAGF Fingerstyle Guitar Competition and a three-day music festival in Beijing. Following this, we expanded the WAGF Festival from Beijing to other cities, including Wuhu, Haikou, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou!
2025年开春，指弹吉他爱好者的首个好消息：阔别多年的“WAGF”指弹吉他音乐节，即将重返广州！！！
2017年的初夏 指弹中国在北京举行了第一届WAGF指弹大赛 及 连续三天的音乐节。紧接着我们从北京出发 把WAGF音乐节带到了芜湖，海口，深圳，广州！
In recent years, fingerstyle guitar concerts have become increasingly popular, and the WAGF Fingerstyle Competition & Festival has been held nine times in Beijing. However, Southern guitar enthusiasts have voiced their opinions, noting that cities like Beijing and Shanghai enjoy an abundance of fingerstyle events, while Guangzhou has been left out. During the Shanghai Music Expo in October 2024, the three-day WAGF Shanghai concerts were a success, sparking strong demand from brands and fans alike: WAGF needs to come to Guangzhou!
这些年指弹吉他音乐会越来越多，而WAGF指弹大赛&音乐节已经在北京举办了九届。
越来越多的南方琴友出来“提意见”，说北京、上海的指弹活动太丰富了，WAGF怎么一直不来广州了？
在2024年10月上海乐展期间我们成功举办了三天WAGF上海音乐会，再次收到很多品牌包括琴友们的呼声：WAGF赶紧来广州!

Brazilian fingerstyle sensation Daniel Padim
Brazilian fingerstyle star Daniel Padim has become increasingly connected to China. After his debut in 2023, he toured with okapi and DPOP, receiving a warm response. In 2024, Daniel returned for a larger tour, visiting more cities and meeting new friends. His third visit to China will be in March 2025, coinciding with the WAGF in Guangzhou. For fans of Daniel’s music, this is a must-see event, where he promises exciting surprises.
来自巴西的人气”指弹红人”丹尼尔和中国的缘分越来越浓，2023年第一次来到中国参加了WAGF和okapi组队DPOP巡了一圈，反响热烈。2024年5月第二次来到中国我们一起巡了一大圈，去到更多的城市，认识了更多新的朋友。10月上海乐展丹尼尔第三次来到中国，并且参加了WAGF上海站的音乐会和Luca分到了最后一天同台演出。
这个巴西人并不陌生，已然成为我们的老朋友，这次3月是丹尼尔的第三次中国巡演，也碰到了我们在广州举办WAGF， 希望喜欢丹尼尔音乐的朋友们一定要听听看看,这次他为我们准备哪些惊喜?
日本指弹冠军 西村健斗
Nishimura Kent, born in Osaka in 2003, is a rising fingerstyle guitar star. He released his first album “Fast・Step” at 12 and went on to release two more. In 2017, he won the Fingerpicking Day national competition, setting a record as the youngest winner. He has gained recognition from international artists like Kotaro Oshio and Tommy Emmanuel. After performing in Hong Kong and touring with Don Ross, Kent is preparing for his 2025 solo concert in Singapore.
Li Xiaozhang reflects on Kent and fellow young guitarist Liu Jiazhuo’s potential for a collaborative tour, which was postponed in 2020 due to unforeseen circumstances. Fans eagerly anticipate Kent’s performance in Guangzhou on March 8th.
西村健斗（Nishimura Kent)
2003年出生于大阪。
2015年，自12岁时发行第一张专辑《Fast・Step》后，相继发表了第二张专辑《2》和第三张专辑《My Favorite Songs》。
出道后便受到押尾光太郎以及Tommy Emmanuel等国内外音乐人及媒体赞赏的西村健斗
2017年不仅获得了全国独奏吉他大赛《Fingerpicking Day》的冠军，还获得了原创改编奖和观赏将在内的三项大奖。同时也刷新了最年轻参赛者的记录，西村健斗的名字也因此被喜欢音乐的粉丝们所知。
2021年在中国哔哩哔哩开设了自己的账号
2023年在香港成功举办个人音乐会，引起更多关注。
2024年和Don Ross进行了加拿大巡演反响热烈。
2025年即将在新加坡举办个人音乐会，同时也受指弹中国邀请进行音乐活动。
李校长的话：
中国指弹少年有刘嘉卓（2004年）日本有指弹少年Kent （2003年）两人年纪相仿。早在2019年的时候，我策划了他们两人的中国巡演，时间定在2020年的8月，巡演的主题特别的PUNK 《少年心气》。
然而，一切没有发生，大家都知道的原因，这一切不得不停止下来。我原以为我可以用一个理想主义的方式让两个国家，两个优秀的少年一起完成一次有意义的“中日指弹吉他”巡演。2020年16岁的嘉卓和17岁的Kent，金子一样的年龄完成伟大的巡演！
没想到Kent第一次中国之行是他22岁了，而嘉卓21岁了，很可惜这次WAGF广州音乐会他没有和嘉卓同台，这场“好戏”我们可能在北京，或上海看到，也许在2026年的广州一样可以见证历史的时刻。对于第一次访问中国的日本指弹新一代Kent，你们有多少期待？3月8日广州现场见！
“China’s Fingerstyle Treasure, Liu Jiazhuo”
Liu Jiazhuo, China’s fingerstyle “treasure,” is returning home for his only tour during the winter break after spending over a year abroad. Since his last tour in July 2023, he has continued to grow both musically and personally. Winning the European Guitar Competition in 2024, Liu Jiazhuo has become an inspiration to many. His third album, recorded in Germany, will be showcased at the WAGF event in Guangzhou on March 9. Don’t miss the final performance of his “Monologue” tour!
属于中国人民的指弹“宝藏”刘嘉卓寒假回国期间的唯一的巡演，离开中国有一年多时间，上次巡演还是2023年7月份出国之前。在指弹粉丝们向往的德累斯顿音乐学院嘉卓学到了什么？这是很多人关注的焦点，嘉卓不再是13岁和16岁的样子了，在音乐上，在人生阅历上，嘉卓稳步向前。

Japanese fingerstyle guitar prodigy, Matsui Yūki.
Japanese fingerstyle guitar prodigy Matsui Yūki completed a 26-city tour across China in 2024. He shared his plans to release a new album in 2025 and another in 2026. During his tour, Yūki engaged with fans, asking about local food and even interacting during his performances. His renditions of anime songs and soft ballads, like “Let It Go,” have earned him a dedicated following. Principal Li recalled that Liu Jiazhuo once admired Yūki, and now the two share the WAGF stage, bringing a fingerstyle feast to Chinese fans.
日本指弹小天王松井祐贵2024年完成了中国26个城市巡演，斗志高昂的Yuki告诉我们，2025年他要发行新专辑，2026年他还要发行新专辑。面对这样努力的Yuki 我们熟悉的那个他，回来了！通过巡演Yuki和中国的粉丝建立了良好的沟通，他会在现场问大家当地美食是什么，也会和观众互动，甚至弹着吉他走到观众面前演奏。

很多年前可能是刘嘉卓13岁左右的时候，他在练习松井祐贵的曲子，也曾经多次说过，松井祐贵也是他学习指弹道路上的偶像之一。没想到多年之后，他们可以在同一个WAGF的舞台，为中国的琴友带来这场指弹盛宴， 指弹南方之福。
松井祐贵对刘嘉卓的关注非常高，称赞刘嘉卓是中国指弹的实力派，嘉卓的音乐和未来一定会更好!
